School uniform is worn throughout the school and we believe it encourages a sense of belonging and identity. School uniform is worn from Nursery to Year 6. In Nursery we find that wearing uniform helps the children not to ruin their ‘best clothes’ as young children can get very messy when learning through play.
Items of school uniform are on display in the entrance hall. School colours are bottle green and grey, with a summer check of green and white for girl’s dresses. We ask that children wear black school shoes. If they come into school wearing boots or trainers, we ask that they change their shoes for the working day. We thank all our parents and carers who actively support our school uniform code.

In addition to the main uniform, all children should have a painting overall, preferably with long sleeves. (An old shirt worn back to front with elastic round the cuffs makes an ideal apron).
Please mark all items of clothing with your child’s name.
Examples of School Uniform are on display in the entrance and can be purchased via the office.
If you have any queries, or would like advice on uniform, please contact the office.
For gymnastics children work in bare feet, but for other activities it is essential that they are provided with a P.E. kit, clearly labelled and kept at school in a properly marked slipper bag – these bags are available from the school office.
All children need:
- Plimsolls, shorts, T-shirt (available with school badge).
- Jogging suits will be required for outdoor activities in the winter.
